Good Electronic Health Record

Peter Schloeffel, from Trident Health Australia presented their Good Electronic Health Record. It started as Good European Health Record, and is now run by the openEHR organization. They plan to make the Ocean Kernal of that program available since it was generated with public funds. See http://www.chime.ucl.ac.uk/healthI/gehr for public domain documentation. It is based on open architecture, uses COM, CORBA, cheap, readily available database program, and has much in common with the European standard, CEN. See www.gehr.org for more.

There is an American attempt toward open architecture called Open Health Forum, who has public domain stuff as well.
