That was a fun experience, with sourdough bread, cable cars pulled by
cables in the street as well as electric busses powered by wires overhead.
The hills were steep and Lombard Street is the crookedest street in the
world, except for the road between Banner Elk, N.C. and Valle Crucis.
Climbing the steps between houses perched on the cliff below Telegraph
Hill I felt like I was in a tropical jungle.
